ATL Computer Repair recently began volunteering for Compmunity Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located here in Smyrna, GA. I wanted to take a moment to plug their organization by describing what they do and how it benefits the community.
Compmunity Foundation
Compmunity Foundation’s mission is to take computers that would normally be headed for the landfill or recycling and refurbish them for use by people and organizations that do not have the financial resources to buy computers.
Started in 2011 by Rolando Godoy, Compmunity Foundation has already given dozens of computers to individuals and non-profit organizations. Some of the non-profit organizations include Happiness is a Choice, Los Ninos Primero, and Ser Familia.
ATL Computer Repair’s capacity for volunteering includes technical assistance as well as supplying parts needed for refurbishing computers.
